Broadway Basics featuring Seussical (In-Person) “Now, imagine a curtain and what lies behind; the kind of a place you might see in your mind.” Based on the characters of Dr. Seuss, Seussical the musical explores themes of friendship, loyalty, family, and community. Students will play drama games, develop silly characters, learn music and choreography, and create powerful original stories. Their collaborative efforts will be showcased in an one-of-a-kind virtual performance to share with family and friends. Love musical theatre? This class is for you! Through drama games, improv, music, and movement, students will fine tune their musical theatre technique, learn how to take command of the stage, and gain confidence on and off the stage. Led by a professional teaching artist, students will hone their skills in acting, vocal training, and dance for musical theatre. The session culminates in a one-of-a-kind performance showcasing the students' work.
